The Real Bitcoin Debate: You Can't Separate Geopolitics from Your Money

Hey hey Bitcoin Wealth Builders,
You may have recently heard me losing my shit on a few X Spaces. The clips have been turned into memes and cartoons, and while I can take it in good humour, the subject itself is a dead-serious red line for me.
I’m talking about the genocide in Gaza—the Holocaust and mass starvation campaign that is happening right now. When people on a public forum mock, deny, or spout propaganda to cover up these crimes against humanity, I will not stay silent.
My goal with this blog is to provide the full context for that heated discussion. After 650 days in the anti-genocide movement, you learn to spot the tactics of derailment and propaganda in real-time. I want to document that X Space as a case study for you, so you can see the playbook of denial, mockery, and censorship as it happens. You can listen to the original, unedited X Space hosted by Fred Krueger here: And for your convenience, you can watch the full video (hit the play button at the top of this blog) just in case the original X Space recording gets removed.
More importantly, I want to connect it all back to the one tool we have for peaceful resistance. This is what Bitcoin was created for.
The Battleground: Trust, Experts, and "Following the Money"
The X Space began with a discussion about the Epstein files, but quickly devolved into a debate about trust itself. On one side, you had lawyers like Joe Carlasare and Zach Shapiro arguing that in a complex world, you have to place a degree of trust in "subject matter experts". They argued that "doing your own research" is not a reliable path to truth and that most people are not qualified to form their own opinions on complex topics like medicine or geopolitics.
My position is different. After 25 years of studying money and power, I've learned that the most reliable framework is to follow the money. I believe that you can't be in a position of power unless you're compromised. People's opinions and public statements are often dictated by who pays their bills. I made this point directly on the space, asking the lawyers on the panel about who their clients were—financial services, insurance companies, and high-net-worth individuals in the Bitcoin space. This isn't a personal attack; it's about understanding conflicts of interest. It is the Bitcoin ethos: Don't Trust, Verify.
The Red Line: When Propaganda Meets Crimes Against Humanity
The conversation turned hostile when I refused to let the discussion ignore the real-world consequences of the systems we were debating: the ongoing, US-funded genocide in Gaza. I was immediately met with attempts to derail the topic. I was told it was an "anti-American propaganda space" and that we should just "talk Bitcoin".
This is the tactic. They use censorship and weaponized terms like "conspiracy theorist," "doomer," and "anti-Semitic" to shut down conversations that get too close to the truth. I directly challenged one of the speakers, Zach Shapiro, on his view of the situation in Gaza. He stated he did not see it as a genocide and that he viewed Hamas as the "bad guy".
This is my red line. I have spent every day for nearly two years watching footage of this brutality and speaking with people on the ground whose families have been massacred. To hear an American, whose government is the primary sponsor of this Holocaust, deny its existence is not something I can let pass. It is the most important topic in the world right now, because it is a real-time exposure of how the Proof-of-Weapons Network profits from war, death, and destruction.
Simon's Final Thoughts: This Is Why Bitcoin Was Created
My opponents on the space wanted to separate Bitcoin from these uncomfortable geopolitical realities. They were wrong. This is exactly why Bitcoin was created.
I was there at the very first Bitcoin conference. It was us versus the banks. Bitcoin was created to be a resistance against the financial institutions that fund wars. It was designed to defund the war machine. It was built to be an exit, an opt-out from a corrupt banking system that props up the US dollar with "war, death, destruction and violence".
The power structure—the real one that sits above compromised politicians like Trump and Biden—benefits from propping up the dollar with endless conflict. Bitcoin is our tool for peaceful protest. It allows me to:
- Boycott the Federal Reserve by saving my wealth outside their system.
- Boycott BlackRock by owning my Bitcoin in self-custody, not in their ETFs.
- Boycott the banks by not borrowing against my Bitcoin.
- Boycott the war machine by spending consciously.
This is the real conversation we need to be having. Bitcoin is not just about a price going up; it’s a freedom technology. It is the tool we use to fight back.
VINDICATION: The GHF Whistleblower
During the debate, my opponents used a common tactic to dismiss my points about the genocide in Gaza. They claimed that nobody can really know what’s happening unless they are on the ground. I stated unequivocally that the so-called "Gaza Humanitarian Foundation" (GHF) is a US-funded operation perpetrating a holocaust.
Just now, after that space was recorded, Tucker Carlson released a bombshell video.
In it, a retired US Green Beret, Lt. Col. Tony Aguilar, who was on the ground in Gaza as a member of the GHF, comes forward as a whistleblower. He confirms witnessing horrific war crimes, validating everything I was fighting to expose during the debate.
Watch the video (Tony Aguilar Details the War Crimes He’s Witnessing in Gaza) below. This is the evidence that came out after the debate, confirming what I said.
During the debate, I brought up Jeffrey Epstein’s possible connections to Mossad and other intelligence agencies. For additional sources and information on this topic, I’ve published a blog post on my website, which is linked below.
