Judgment Day: 20 Years Recommended for Alex Mashinsky β Letβs Close This Chapter Together
May 08, 2025By Simon Dixon
Hey Hey Celsius Creditors,
Today is Mashinsky Judgment Day.
Remember the apology he promised us when I confronted him in the video above?
It never came.
Worse still, according to the U.S. Department of Justice, Mashinsky has allegedly continued to conceal funds through a web of shell companies—some of which remain accessible via his wife, who, according to victims, continues to retraumatize those affected by their fraud.
The allegations suggest that instead of taking responsibility or working toward restitution, Mashinsky is still enriching himself—shielding ill-gotten gains rather than repaying the creditors he wronged.
After years of deception, damage, and delay, Alex Mashinsky is finally facing justice.
On April 28, 2025, the U.S. Attorney submitted a formal sentencing recommendation:
20 years in prison—the minimum they believe he deserves for the fraud he committed through Celsius Network.
That one sentence says everything we’ve known all along —and today, it’s on the record.

This is not just a sentencing hearing.
This is closure.
This is accountability.
This is us saying: no more.
Why This Moment Matters
The DOJ’s 97-page sentencing memo doesn’t hold back. It details how Mashinsky misled investors, pocketed millions, and left thousands of us picking up the pieces.
Despite overwhelming evidence and devastating consequences, Mashinsky still won’t take responsibility. That’s why the U.S. Attorney is pushing for the maximum sentence — to send a message to the entire industry: You don’t get to lie, steal, and walk away.
And neither do we.
We don’t walk away from this without speaking out.
Whether you lost money, lost trust, or just want to see this through — join me tonight.
We’ll unpack what this sentencing recommendation really means, talk about what comes next, and mark the end of one of the ugliest chapters in crypto history.
This is Final Judgment. Be there.
Let’s close this chapter — together.
See you tonight,
Simon Dixon
